Now available as a free download: an all-in-one file for the one-shot I've run most often at game nights and conventions. By all-in-one I mean a single PDF that contains everything you need to print in one place (i.e., it includes the abridged rules). You will see it as a free download under "Ready to Play Setting - Streamlined."

This is the same ready-to-play setting as the one in the rulebook, but this version covers the whole story in a single, short session. The key features of this new version are:

• Less reading for the players to get started
• A single introductory scene instead of the Introduction and Beginning scenes in the original version
• New material to help the GM develop and guide the story to a conclusion quickly

Overall, this version makes the story more prescriptive and simplified than the original, but it provides a great introduction to the game if you only have a few hours. And it can still be the basis of a longer story to be played over the course of multiple sessions. Let me know what you think!

Like most game designers, I think it is impossible to appreciate everything my game has to offer in a single session. But I appreciate the reality that gamers typically play a new TTRPG only once. And once is still better than not at all. So I hope to put out more settings in an "all-in-one" format in the future.
